TN COVID-19 Case Count For July 5, 2020

After Tennessee set another single day record with 1,822 new COVID-19 cases, Governor Bill Lee gave Tennessee’s county mayors authority to issue local mask requirements.
-The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is now 51,431 as of Sunday, July 5, 2020 (up 1,291 since Saturday) including 646 deaths, 2,871 hospitalizations and 30,254 recovered.
-Cumberland County now reports 4 deaths from COVID-19 as of Sunday, July 5, 2020. There are 55 active cases; 181 total COVID-19 cases (up 8 from Wednesday) and 122 recovered (no change from Wednesday).
-Putnam County reports a total case count of 883 (up 78 from Wednesday), with 609 recovered (up 17) and 7 deaths (no change).
-Rhea County, which has no deaths, is at 286 COVID-19 cases (up 14 from Wednesday) and 244 (up from Wednesday).
-Bledsoe County has 620 cases, 1 death and 612 recovered.
-White County has 70 cases (up 6 from Wednesday); 50 recovered (up 1 from Wednesday) and 3 deaths (no change).
