This 4th of July weekend marked the first time in history that IndyCar and NASCAR shared the same bill for a track on the same weekend. Both organizations headed to Indiana at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The IndyCar Series was first when they raced the Road Course of IMS with Scott Dixon picking up the win for Chip Ganassi Racing. The Xfinity Series for NASCAR was second and also raced on the Road Course of IMS with Chase Briscoe picking up his 5th win of the season for Stewart-Haas Racing. Then on July 5th the NASCAR Cup series was the main event of the historic event. Kevin Harvick completed the NASCAR Sweep for Stewart-Haas Racing winning the Birckyard 400 and scoring his 4th win of the season. He is now tied Denny Hamlin for most wins this season. NASCAR heads to Kentucky to race on Sunday at 1:30 PM on Fox Sports 1.
