In his Daily Notes on Monday, Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster said that while he will not be mandating the use of face masks, he still encourages all Cumberland Countians to use a mask or face covering. He also encourages citizens to follow the Governor’s guidelines, to make sure to socially distance, and to wash your hands frequently.
Mayor Foster reports that for Monday, July 6, 2020, Cumberland County had 52 active cases (-3 from Sunday); 183 positive cases (+2); 127 recovered (+5 ;
4 deaths officially reported (no change from Sunday) and 14 hospitalizations (no change).
The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is now 52,155 as of Monday, July 6, 2020 (up 724 from Sunday) including 653 deaths (up 7) 2,897 hospitalizations (up 26); and 31,020 recovered (up 766).
-Putnam County reports a total case count of 906 (up 23 from Sunday), with 643 recovered (up 34) and 7 deaths (no change).
-Bledsoe County has 621 cases (up 1), 1 death and 612 recovered.
-White County has 73 (up 3 from Sunday); 52 recovered (up 2 from Sunday) and 3 deaths (no change).
