Crossville Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault on an Officer

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office an Officer made an traffic stop for a traffic violation. The Officer made contact with Mark Cobb and stated that he was very aggravated and belligerent. The Officer wrote Mr. Cobb a citation following after handing Mr. Cobb his citation and license back the driver stomped on the accelerator and almost ran over the Officer. The Officer did give chase and arrested Mark Cobb for Aggravated Assault Charges.
