Early Voting for the State Primary and County General Election is going on now until Saturday, August 1. In Cumberland County, you may cast your ballot early at the Election Commission office across from the Cumberland County Courthouse on Main Street in Crossville Weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday’s from 8 a.m. to noon. The only contested races on the General Election ballot in Cumberland County are the seats for District 6 County Commissioner and District 4 School Board.
Remember to bring a valid photo identification to the polls. A driver’s license or photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, by Tennessee state government or by the federal government are acceptable even if they are expired. College student IDs are not acceptable.
The last day to request an Absentee Ballot to vote by mail is Thursday, July 30. For those who do not take advantage of Early Voting, you will have to vote at your designated precinct on Thursday, August 6. For more information contact the Cumberland County Election Commission at 931-484-4919.
