Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster reports that property tax collections ended at 101% of budget. Hotel/Motel tax collections came in at approximately $640,000 of the $817,283 budget as revised down due to last year?s collection. Prisoner boarding collections through 11 months were $552,000 of the $743,000 budget. Local option sales tax collections for the BOE came in at $947,300 which is $29,207 above estimated revenue. This is money spent by consumers in April, remitted to the State in May, and reported in June. Overall, collections were $148,549 above the budgeted amount for the year. EMS collections for the year were just over $4.9 million.
