A Crossville man lost his life Wednesday morning when his vehicle crashed on Genesis Road. It happened around 10:30 a.m. between Jones Road and Elmore Cemetery Road. According to the THP, 77-year-old Arlen D. Aytes was driving a 2008 Ford Ranger south on State Highway 298 when he ran off the right side of the road and over corrected. The vehicle went across the highway and off the left side of the roadway into a deep ditch where it overturned and collided with a tree. Mr. Aytes, who was wearing a seatbelt, was killed in the accident.
