Officers with the Fairfield Glade Police Department took Isaac Houston Butler JR., 48 of Pikeville, Tennessee in custody on a charge of Theft by Home Improvement Services Provider on Saturday, August 2, 2020. A Cumberland County Grand Jury indicted Butler in January of this year. A resident of Fairfield Glade reported to investigators that he had paid Butler in advance for materials and labor for home improvement services and that the work was never started. The Fairfield Glade Police Department works diligently to protect our homeowners from fraud. Most of our citizens are Senior Citizens and are often thought of as easy targets for scammers. Butler is awaiting a September Court Date in Criminal Court.
