City Council approves Public Works Director position

As recommended by the recent compensation and wage study, the Crossville City Council approved a motion to move forward with a Public Works Director position. The motion charges the city manager with the selection process and creation of a job description. A salary was not discussed, but council did approve a budget amendment up to $110,000 for wages and benefits for the position.
