The Country Music Association (CMA) has announced Wednesday afternoon that Hank Williams Jr., Marty Stuart, and Songwriter Dean Dillon will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The 71 year old Hank Jr., also known as Bocephus, is well known for his songs such as “A Country Boy Can Survive”, “All My Rowdy Friends Are Comin’ Over Tonight”, and “Family Traditions”. Marty Stuart, who is 61, started out as a sideman playing in bands with Johnny Cash and bluegrass legend Lester Flatt. Stuart had 6 Top 10 Country Billboard Songs and is well known for his 90s hits such as “Hillbilly Rock”, “Tempered”, and “Little Things”. Songwriter Dean Dillon stated “Trying to soak in the words that I had just heard. My life flashed before my eyes. You could’ve knocked me over with a feather.”. Dillon is known for writting for singers like Gorge Strait, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith. He is also known fro writing the hit “Tennessee Whiskey” with Linda Hargrove.
