Governor Bill Lee has changed his mind again about revealing COVID-19 outbreaks per each school in Tennessee. The Tennessee Department Of Health is reporting on the number of school age children per county that have tested positive for COVID-19 but for now the TDH will not list such information for specific schools. The State reports that as of Tuesday, August 18, 2020 fifty-two children in Cumberland County between the ages of 5 and 18 had tested positive for coronavirus. Putnam County reports 291 school age children have tested positive for COVID-19. Fentress reports 23, Morgan 18, Bledsoe 17, White 39 and Rhea and Roane Counties each have 64. These numbers reflect total positive cases and not current active cases.
