The Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance (TDCI) reminds Tennesseans that qualifying beauty salons, barbershops, and nail salons are eligible for funds through Governor Bill Lee’s Tennessee Business Relief Program. The program will direct approximately $200 million in federal Coronavirus Relief Funds to Tennessee businesses through the Tennessee Department of Revenue. There is no application process, however, only businesses that are registered with the Department of Revenue to either file sales tax or business tax returns are eligible for a business relief payment. Businesses are encouraged to update their mailing addresses by logging into TNTAP.
