On Friday morning, June 26, Crossville Police were dispatched to Walmart for a report of a man who was riding his bicycle inside the store with a sword on his side. Police made contact with 26-year-old Zachary Scott Walden, of Crossville. Police confiscated the sword and report that Mr. Walden resisted a search for other weapons. During the investigation, Police found a glass marijuana pipe and say that Mr. Walden had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath and had slurred speech. Mr. Walden was taken into custody and charged with Public Intoxication, Resisting Stop Halt Frisk, and Simple Possession.
