NASCAR held the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 Sunday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway. This was the third race, since the restart of NASCAR, that an estimate of 20,000 to 25,000 people would be in attendance. Ryan Blaney led the most laps at Texas leading the field for 150 laps. Blaney also won Stages 1 & 2 adding 50 points to his season. However after a late caution that altered the race Austin Dillon and teammate Tyler Reddick would restart positions 1 & 2. Dillon would ultimately hold off Reddick and get his 3rd career win. This is the first time that Richard Childress Racing finished 1st and 2nd since Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton in 2011 at Talladega. The NASCAR Cup Series has a quick turn around as they will be in Kansas Thursday night at 6:30 PM on NBCSN.
