A Fentress County woman lost her life in a crash on State Highway 62 in Putnam County Thursday morning (7/23/2020). The THP reports that 73-year-old Helen Thompson, of Jamestown, was driving west in a 2010 Nissan Sentra around 6:40 a.m. when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road. The Sentra hit a large boulder which caused the vehicle to rollover on its top. Ms. Thompson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was killed in the accident.
