A Rockwood man was charged with Evading Arrest and DUI after he fled from a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy on Monday. According to reports, the deputy spotted the suspect’s vehicle speeding on Westel Road and attempted to stop it. The vehicle did not stop and was found a short while later crashed into a tree. The driver, 20-year-old Dylan Michael Pelfrey, had a strong odor of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test. Pelfrey was arrested. His female passenger was released from the scene after the deputy spoke to her mother.
