In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, the Knox County Board Of Health has approved an order to so close bars and any establishment with 50% or more of the company’s revenue generated by the sale of alcohol. The order takes effect at 12:01 a.m. August 3 and expires August 20 at 12:01 a.m., WVLT reports. Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs cast the only dissenting vote.
