Another Person Dies From COVID-19 In Cumberland County

Another person has died from COVID-19 in Cumberland County, bringing the death toll to 7. Active cases went up by 14 for a total of 176 reported on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Positive cases are at 502, an increase of 19. Recoveries are 319, up 4 from the previous day. Hospitalizations remain at 30.

Twenty people have now died from COVID-19 in Putnam County, with an additional 2 reported on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Active cases are 481 with total cases at 1,878. The Putnam County Board of Education reports that on Thursday, August 13, 2020 there were 34 confirmed positive cases and 296 in quarantine in the school district. These figures include students and all school employees.

Twenty-four more people have died from the virus statewide, bringing the number of deceased to 1,313. The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee rose by 2, 18 on Thursday brining to total of cases to 128,511 as of August 13, 2020. Hospitalizations increased by 94 in a single day for a total of 5648. Recoveries went up by 1,651 for a total of 89,151 recovered.
