Crossville Man Charged with Aggravated Burglary and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon

Officers with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Metal Lite a business on Caryonah Road for a theft report. Once the officers met with the Manager of the business he stated that someone unlawfully entered the business and stole a firearm. The main operation building on the property was also burglarized. The suspects either made a hole or used an existing hole to pull the garage door chain to open the garage door where they also stole a laser thermometer. The manager then did a private investigation leading to suspect Stuart Cole who broke into the building back in 2017 as well. Stuart was staying in a residence next to the building. Officers then arrested Mr. Cole for several warrants in Cumberland County and charged him with Aggravated Burglary. Burglary, theft of Property, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
